First impressions of the rack on the back of the Hyundai, I think it looks really good, actually. Simple, easy to figure out. And I actually like where it sits and holds your bikes because it's about chest level and makes it really manageable when you go to take 'em off and load 'em up and everything else. This rack does have the ability to carry up to four bikes, but they say if you have a class one hitch, you're limited to two. more

Hey, everyone. Today we have a 2017 Hyundai Elantra, and we're going to do a test strip for the Thule Helium Pro Three Bike Hanging Style Rack. This three bike rack is going to allow you to carry up to three bikes to and from the trails, or wherever else you want to take them. It's going to have onboard cable lock, which comes out from the center mast right there, slides into the slot right there. Once you have it, you just take your included keys, lock it in. When you want to unload your bikes, unlock the lock cylinder, pull your cable out, and then you can unload your bikes. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Hyundai Elantra- Video

Today on our 2017 Hyundai Elantra, we're going to be taking a look at the Kuat transfer two bike platform rack, part number TS02G. Now, one of the really nice features of this bike rack is is that even with our bike attached to our bike rack, simply step on the lever below and we still have full access to getting in our trunk, getting anything in or out that we may need. Now to put the bike back up just lift up and you'll hear it lock into place. Now there's no frame contact and the way this is going to mount to the rack itself is you're going to have one wheel hook up here in the front and you're going to have a strap here in the back. Now to remove these, simply push in on the tab, lift the strap out . And you always want to make sure you have a firm grip on your bike so it doesn't fall and hit our vehicle. Come up to the front hook and there's a button right here. Push the button, which will release the hook, we can move it out of the way and our bike will come right off. Now I'm going to give you a few measurements since this is going to be adding a decent amount of space to the back of our vehicle. more

Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike is attached to the rack, we're going to have three points of contact with the bikes frame. We're going to have two straps up at the top here, and one off to the side, and that's going to serve as an anti-sway strap to keep the bike from going too far back and forth, possibly hitting the vehicle or the bikes in front of it, and damaging them. These cradles are adjustable to accommodate different size bikes and to change up how you attach them to it. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. Now with the bike rack in this position, I want to go ahead and give you some measurements here real quick. Saris Bike Porter Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2013 Hyundai Elantra- Video

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra we're going to be doing a test fit on the Saris Bike Porter. This is a folding and tilting 4-bike rack. It's been designed for use with 1-1/4" or 2" hitches. Part number on it is SA404B. Now we're using it in a class one hitch today so you will be limited to a 2-bike capacity when using it. We do offer this in just a 2-bike; that part number is SA402B. Now to begin our test fit we just slide the shank of the Bike Porter right into the receiver tube of our hitch. more

Swagman Titan Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Hyundai Elantra- Video

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra we'll be test fitting the Swagman Titan Four Bike Carrier, part number s63410. Now to begin our test fit we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pin holes, thread our anti-rattle bolt through the pin holes and tighten with a wrench. Now with our Swagman tightened secured to our Hyundai Elantra we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how they fit together.From the rear of the carrier we have about 14 inches ground clearance. Closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the bumper is about seven inches. With the cradle arms folded down we've added about 18 inches to the overall length of the vehicle. We can now pull the black lever at the top of the mast to swing the cradle arms out and for the vehicle's rear bumper to the end of the cradle arms we've added an additional 36 inches to the overall length of the vehicle.Now with this bike carrier you can access the trunk of the vehicle with the mast in its upright position or you can pull the black lever at the base of carrier to tilt the mast down to be able to load larger cargo easier. more

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra, we'll be test fitting the Pro Series Q-Slot Platform Style 2 Bike Carrier, part number PS63134. Now to begin our test fit, we'll go ahead and remove the 2-inch adapter from our bike rack shank. We can then slide the shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install our hitch pin. We'll put the safety clip on the other side of the pin which will secure our bike rack to the vehicle. We'll now go ahead and give you a few measurements. A few things to know about this bike rack that it will work with 1-1/4-inch receiver hitches both class 1 and class 2 and this will also work with 2-inch receiver hitches with 2-inch receiver hitches with the included spacer. On this car, we'll be working with a class 1 receiver hitch. We'll start off our test fit by installing the anti-rattle bolt, tightening it down, and then we'll put the lock on the other side. Alright, today on this 2012 Hyundai Elantra, were going to do a test fit of part number RG8015220 from Rhode Gear, their Highway 2 Bike Carrier. A few things to know about this bike rack, is that it will work with 1-1/4-inch receiver hitches both class 1 and class 2, and this will also work with 2-inch receiver hitches with the included spacer.
